Spring Break

Spring Break was pretty uneventfull (oh, except for redoing Jenna's room, Bret's room, and their Bathroom--how could I forget!). On Friday we decided to go up to St. George for a quick 24 hour trip. Of course Steve had a exciting climb planned for us! We went into some cavern which were really cool (pictures don't do it justice). It was nessecary to have on head-lights inorder to see anything. At one point we turned them all off as some other hikers had sprayed glow sticks all over themselves and the cavern walls. Looked like you were in space with 1000's of starts. We only had a few minor causalties (Jenna and Morgan hit their head)
The kids also wanted to go to Jumping Jacks. I tried to take pictures, but they were not cooperating to well. In fact, I was battling with Jenna on taking her picture so much, she fell off the jumper---so I snapped a good pic of that one---guess I won that battle! :)

Fun Weekend!

Finally, I know! This weekend Jenna and Taylor had a volleyball tournament at the same location. So we made it a family affair! It was great to have Barbara, Christopher, Cheryl, Jake, Jill, Hailey, and Morgan all come out and support the girls and hang out. The kids had a blast running through the bleachers and under them (not so sure the parents/spectators enjoyed this game though)

The last pic was very entertaining so I had to put it in. I met a friend for dinner on Saturday night. I thought I was going to eat Gyro sandwiches, but turned out to be this big Greek dinner with belly dancing as entertainment. She even made the audience get up and dance with her (glad I don't have pics of me doing that!)

Coloring Easter Eggs

Aunt Cheryl invited a few people with their toddlers over to color eggs. I was pleasantly surprised when my kids wanted/were willing to go over and participate in the cookie decorating and egg coloring. It was quite entertaining---as you can see, Jake didn't quite master the using of a spoon to dye his egg blue!
